Tuna boats on Cabo shores again...

There were a lot of tuna seiners close to Cabo today, big boats with helicopters. Looks like our tuna catches may drop. We received a lot of calls from anxious anglers to ask if this is legal. Unfortunately the answer is yes. Nevetheless we called Fish and Game who told us they didn't have an inspector available, we did manage to get the navy to go out and check on them though.

Our condolences to dockmasters Mario and Oscar Bañaga

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Mario Bañaga Senior, father of our two dockmasters Mario and Oscar. Mario senior passed away at home after undergoing heart surgery. He seemed to be recovering well when he suffered a relapse 8 days after his operation. Mario Sr. was a pioneer in tourism in Los Cabos and was the official photographer at the Cabo dock for many years as well as a dear friend. He will be greatly missed.

April 17th Fish Report

Hi there anglers!!

This is our fish report from April 17th, full moon is approaching and the light gives fish more time to hunt at night and sometimes they are already full by the time the boats get to the fishing grounds.
