Testimonial

We wanted to let you all know that we had the best day ever with Julio Castro and crew. Our highest regards on their attitude and skills. We caught 5 marlin, 1 Dorado and 1 tuna that day and considered this our best and most fun day of all three days fishing. We were on the Rebecca on the 29th and the Bill Collector on the 31st. The Bill Collector is a beautiful boat…bar none. But the Tracy Ann rocked and Julio and crew are number one on our list and will be number one for a rebook when we return. Expect referrals for Pisces and the Tracy Ann with a caption –“for the fishing trip of your life book with Pisces and the Tracy Ann”.

A visit from an old friend

Yesterday August 8th, we had the visit of our really good friend Captain Byron Blocker, he used to be the Captain of the Josephine, a beautiful 80ft Ocean Alexander, one of the most luxurious yachts Cabo have seen, he moved from Cabo and he came back as a tourist.

He took his friends Colleen and Maria and they had a blast, I have to say, the girls did all the work, Byron just sat with the Captain and took pictures like crazy. The ladies released one sailfish, one striped marlin, one blue marlin and landed two nice dorados.

Here are some pictures of the great trip they had.

What we do in low season

When we are busy, we are REAAAALLY busy, however, what to do when there are no reservations?

Take a look at what Ady and Oscar do to stay awake...

This could be you, catch it, and have it cooked at Captain Tony's

After a really good day of fishing aboard the La Brisa, Shannon Broussard, Curtis Richard, Jamal Arceneaux and Reggie Provost from Texas, were wondering what to do with their catch, so we suggested them to take the fish to Captain Tony's Restaurant, we arranged to clean their fish and have it ready at the restaurant, the guys went back to the hotel and rest a little bit and then came by Tony's, as soon as they got there, the chef prepared the delicious plate you can see in the picture below, well, barely as we took the picture a little bit late, or they were just too hungry and didnt wait for us to take the picture.

The guys at Captain Tony's cook the fish for you for only $5 bucks per person, and they cook it 3 different ways, they have a really great Cilantro Sauce recipe, and the traditional Blackened style, and more recipes to choose from.

Testimonial from Michael Robertson

Howdy,

Once again yall have out done yalls self. I look forward to fishing with yall every trip. We fishing with Julio on "Bill Collector". This is our second year to fish with him and he is my favorite captian in all of Cabo. No one fishes hard than Julio. We had a great first fishing it was a perfect way to spend fathers day with my Dad and his best Rocky and his son Mitchell. We caught three tuna that day with Rocky's about 20lbs, Mitchel was about 50lbs and Mine was about 60lbs pictures are attched. The second was just as good as everybody got a turn to fight a fish with Rocky, Mitchel and my Dad all catching dorado the biggest about 50lbs. Are good friend Brian came along that and was able to catch and release his first marlin. Then we got a bit of a suprise at the end of the day when I caught a jackfish that hit front right corner teaser. But Once again a great trip and cant wait to come back.

Thanks,

Michael Robertson, Pearland TX.

Just wanted to say thanks for the great trip; I’ve attached a pic of the Dorado I caught while fishing on the Rebecca June 23rd. We caught a few Dorados and saw a number of striped Marlin and had a nice one take a bait before tossing the hook behind the boat. The crew worked hard and put us on fish, but the Marlin weren’t biting that day.

Thanks again,

No Storm Fears

Well it looked like we were going to get our first Tropical Storm/Hurricane of the Season as Andreas formed below us. It did cause flooding in the Acapulco & Zihuatanejo areas with three deaths reported in that area, however, as the storm approached cooler water, it began to lose force and has now totally dissapated. Which is great news as the Stars & Stripes Tournament starts tomorrow. This is a really cool event that raises funds for Big Brothers & Big Sisters, plus donates to locally charities in Cabo.....last year they gave funds to build a dormitory for a children's home in La Paz. Check out the tournament here http://starsandstripestournament.com/ also if you want to see what the weather is like in Cabo in real time, just check out our webcam and you will be seeing exactly what we are seeing http://pisces.linksysremoteview.com/img/main.cgi?next_file=main.htm
